FROM THE DRESSING ROOM TO THE DUGOUT
For 16 years, I experienced football from the pitch. When the time came to stop playing, I did not feel I was entering a different world, only seeing it from a different perspective. Coaching was never an improvised decision. I had spent years learning, observing and preparing for that step.
From my first experience as an assistant coach to competing in Croatia's top flight, every stage has exposed me to different contexts, demands and challenges. All of them have helped shape the coach I am today.

THE COACH
WHO WAS ALWAYS THERE
Long before I led a team, I was already trying to understand what was happening beyond the ball. Every coach, every dressing room, every country and every difficult moment taught me a different way of seeing football.
As a player, I learned to compete, live with pressure, adapt and understand that there is no single route to performance. Everything I experienced over those 16 years now shapes the way I observe, decide and lead.
